SEARCY, Ark. – The Harding women's soccer team opened Gulf South Conference play at home Friday night hosting the Montevallo Falcons. The Lady Bisons had their share of opportunities to put the tying ball into the back of the net but the Falcons lead proved to be enough. The Lady Bisons fell 1-0.
Harding drops to 5-5-0, 0-1 GSC while Montevallo improves to 4-3-3, 1-0-1 GSC.
The Falcons goal came in the 33rd minute when senior forward Paula Radmard tapped the ball into the goal off a deflection by Laura Alford from a corner kick by Stacey Balaam.
The Lady Bisons continue GSC play on Sunday hosting West Florida at 1 p.m., at the Harding Soccer Field.
